San Sebastián Gastronomika 2015.

Each year, we look forward to go to San Sebastian Gastronomika show and it’s time for us to inform you about what’s gonna happen there. Last year, about 12,000 people visited the event and this year promises to be even better.
Between the 4th and the 7th of October, La Antigua team will wait for you in the Kursaal Conference Hall in Donostia – San Sebastian. This year, the invited countries are Singapore and Hong Kong. The best Chef of Euskadi and of the rest of Spain will meet for the XVII edition of the Show with a very special selection of Chef of the Asian gastronomy.

This event is organized by El Diario Vasco and by the GSR group. The committee of this event is composed by Michelin stars like Martin Berasategui, Juan Mari Arzak, Hilario Arbelaitz, Karlos Arguiñano, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Pedro Subijana and Roser Torras. This event of San Sebastian Gastronomika is very important for all the best Chefs of the world and this year is not an exception.

But, in reality, this year will be very special for us. We have the opportunity to sponsor the event. Visitors will find our stand in the VIP area and furthermore, the VIP visitors of the Kursaal Conference Hall will enjoy a degustation of our sheep cheese.
We will have the chance to present our company and our work during a speech. The Michelin stars will be there to test our cheese during a Showcooking.
Visitors will learn to blend their sheep cheeses in their plates during a incredible Masterclass of cooking with cheese.

La Antigua de Fuentesaúco at San Sebastián Gastronomika

As you have understood, everybody will have their eyes on us and we love it ! We can say that La Antigua is part of la crème de la crème of the San Sebastian Gastronomika 2015 exhibitors. As you already know, it is very important for us to improve our work and we think that this sponsoring will hellp us to prove to visitors that we have our place here. We love the well done work and we do not want to see one visitor of San Sebastian Gastronomika Show without one the Gastronomic Jewels of Spain : La Antigua de Fuentesaúco Sheep Cheese.

It is an honor for us to be elected between all the exhibitors of the event. Last year, about 70 Michelin stars met there and it is not gonna change this year. This show is the place to be for all the best Chefs of the world. About 150 students of cooking were there last year to cook delicious dishes.

The impact of this show is very important for us. About 11,500 tweets written and about 19,000 people were talking about the event on Facebook.
