Solidarity is one of our hallmarks, so through this video release we want to share with you all some of the solidarity actions we carried out during the confinement caused by Covid-19.
Although these were hard and difficult times for everyone, we could not forget the sectors at risk of social vulnerability, undoubtedly one of the most affected by this global pandemic. For this reason, when the Vida e Paz Community contacted us to ask for help, we did not hesitate even for an instant, after all, the hardest moments are when solidarity is most needed.
Solidarity cheese for Portugal
We prepared our cheese (about 25 kilos) to travel to the neighboring country of Portugal in May, which was distributed by the treatment centers themselves, which cover about 200 users, also using for the preparation of dinners for the more than 530 homeless people supported by Community Street Teams Life and Peace. In this way, and thanks to the constant communication that we have maintained with this community, we can affirm that our work and efforts have been successful and that the main objective has been achieved: to help those most in need. For this reason we feel satisfied and from Gestión Agro Ganadera and Quesería La Antigua we will continue to support solidarity initiatives like this one. A better world is possible if we walk together, without borders.
Solidarity also reached the people of Salamanca
Although this has not been the only action we have taken in the hardest months of this confinement.

We were in contact withhomes for the elderly in Salamanca and several towns in the area, with the
Red Cross of Salamanca
and with the City Council of Santa Marta de Tormes to make our cheeses available to everyone. Our goal was none other than to do our bit, to make those days a little easier, and taste a little better with a little cheese.
