Our greatest dream has always been to pay tribute to the figure of the shepherd and milkman . To value our roots and make known the importance of the countryside and all the people who are dedicated to keeping alive the tradition and good work.
Challenge, which we have been carrying out for a few years now at the
Cooking with Cheese… and Humor Congress
whose seventh edition was held on October 5 at the Palacio de Congresos de Salamanca; where we cooked, laughed and enjoyed a lot.
Each edition excites us more and more. For us, our people are the most important thing, because without them, we would not exist. The winners of the VII Congreso Cocina con Queso… y Humor have been:

- Sebastián and Antonio Moreno, Mateo Ortego
- OVIRONCE
All of them are tireless, hard-working people who dedicate their lives to the livestock sector.
Meet the winners of the VII Congreso Cocina con Queso… y Humor (VII Cheese and Humor Cooking Congress)
The Traditional Shepherd Award was given to Finca El Casaco, received by Gerardo and Aaroa Tola, on behalf of their father Julián Tola, a shepherd by vocation who dedicated his life to what made him happiest, always growing and making those of us who had the honor of knowing him grow.
His cattle breeding is an example of innovation within its traditional and generational path of which we are very proud.
The New Shepherds Award was granted to Ganadería El Carro, to promote modernity in the farms managed by young entrepreneurs; and that promote the creation of activity in rural areas, settlement of neighbors and youth to the villages and struggle to ensure one more generation to the primary sector.
A well-deserved award, which fights for the training of new breeders and the continuity of the profession, taking care of livestock.

. Essential and necessary work in our sector. They are in charge of delivering the milk from the farmer to the facilities of
Gestión Agro Ganadera
and Quesería La Antigua, our key link in the chain.
A hard work that is done every day of the year, starting the collection at night or in the early hours of the morning. Sacrifice and effort behind the passion they feel for their work.
Mateo with great experience and professionalism, Sebastián, the oldest, with more than 40 years on the truck, opened the way (and what a way!) to his son Antonio, who proves every day that he was born for transport.
We can say that three people whose professionalism, tenacity and passion for their work, have led not only to this recognition, but also to the esteem and affection of the entire Agro Livestock Management Team and La Antigua Cheese Factorywho is and will be very grateful for his great work.
And last but not least, the Cobadú Special Award, which is presented by our friends and dear colleagues, goes to OVIRONCE, a company whose trajectory and commitment to the countryside, animal welfare and the primary sector are highlighted.
The Cobadú Cooperative to which it belongs, wanted to praise the good work of his company and daily work.
We are very proud of the fact that entire families are committed to the sector, that they are fighting for it and moving forward, generation after generation.
One more year they are the protagonists, the reason to continue working and putting the value of the field, the shepherd and the good work of the artisan and traditional.
We bet on them, because they do not stop betting on us.
