Alimentaria 2024, we meet again!

Alimentaria 2024 is an important date in our calendar, as every year it offers us a few days to enjoy the best food in the world and the best techniques to prepare them.

What is Alimentaria?

Alimentaria is an international event held at the Fira de Barcelona every two years and is a reference for all professionals in the food, beverage and food service industry. In short, one of the most prestigious food fairs at national and international level.

And why is it so important for our cheeses to be in it?

At Alimentaria we have the great opportunity to meet a lot of talent and at the same time, it allows us to share our know-how and knowledge. You know that for us the most important thing is the raw material: sheep’s milk, and our philosophy: from the field to the table . In addition, Alimentaria is the reference place to create synergies with other masters of the sector.

Important information for Alimentaria 2024

This year, Alimentaria 2024 launches to the new axes and consumer trends giving room for a new structure where the following axes have a place:

  • Grocery foods: the show for the big brands of mass consumer products.
  • International Pavilion: a representative sample of the international offer.
  • Lands of Spain: the best local production.
  • Intercarn: a unique meeting for the meat industry.
  • Interlact: in this case, specialized in the dairy industry.
  • Expoconser: the business platform of the canning industry
  • Snacks, biscuits & confectionery: the healthier temptation
  • Coffee, bakery & pastry: the largest meeting point for the worlds of coffee, bar, bakery, pastry and ice cream.
  • Restaurama: a powerful loudspeaker of gastronomic trends
  • Alimentaria Trends: foods that set the pace for the industry
  • Organic Food: a response to the steady growth of organic and organic products
  • Fin Food, the space for all products oriented to convenience, pleasure and health.
  • Footech: It is an area that serves the food and beverage production industry from raw materials to commercial distribution.

Alimentaria Premium, what is it?

Apart from all these sections, in Pavilion 1 will be located the Premium Zone, reserved only for the most select brands. It is in this category of Alimentaria where you can find us and we are honored to be part of The Jewels of Spanish Gastronomy. In this VIP area we will be able to meet again with our friends of the Spanish Haute Cuisine, the most specialized companies and the most sybarite palates.

In addition to the different spaces and stands, there will also be industry activities:

  • The Alimentaria Hub is the nerve center of the show, a large space full of knowledge, trends, innovation and business for industry, distribution and retail.
  • Innoval is the exhibition space for products that represent a real innovation in the sector.
  • The Horeca Hub (hand in hand with Hostelco & Restaurama) was created with the purpose of supporting the hospitality industry as a whole to be more competitive based on the management, innovation, digitalization and sustainability of their businesses.
  • The Olive Oil Bar is a space for self-guided tasting with the help of descriptive cards to discover some of the best extra virgin olive oils.
  • Food & Hospitality Startups: Alimentaria and HOSTELCO select projects from the new economy and startups among all the applications submitted to participate with a very special pack that includes, among others:
    • Meetings with investors.
    • Exhibition space in one of the two halls.
    • Access to the FOOD & HOSPITALITY STARTUPS AWARDS for the most innovative Startup and the Startup with the greatest projection.
  • Taste & Talks Under an experiential, product and business approach, with activities such as: Demonstrations and tastings, consumption moments, tastings and cupping, training, etc.
  • Catering in collectivities: A reference place to gather information, discover novelties, attend demonstrations and bring together service operators and suppliers in the sector.
