On Sunday 27th the VI Charity Gala was held in favor of the Pyfano Association.
Pyfano is the Spanish Federation of Parents of Children with Cancer, a non-profit organization of public utility, which was created in 1990.
It is made up of 19 associations of parents of children with
children with cancer
This in turn is included in Chilhood Cancer International, an organization that was founded in 1994 and today has 181 member organizations in 90 different countries.
Asociaciones de Padres de niños con cáncer, is the tool through which fathers and mothers of adolescent children with cancer fight to improve the health of their children.
19 associations in Spain assist families in this process, from diagnosis to all the support needed by these families, such as housing during interventions. These associations have been founded and are chaired by parent volunteers whose children have been affected by this disease.
This association offers different services to support families. Some of these services are psychological and social support, research or information and counseling programs.
Pyfano was born in 2003 with one main objective, to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents with cancer and their families. It is declared of public utility and has a long experience in the management and development of social and health projects and initiatives.
The Castilla y León Association has been a member of this association since 2006. In this way, a relationship of national support to the complete state of physical, mental and social well-being is consolidated.
Its headquarters are located in Salamanca, because the University Hospital of Salamanca is considered the reference center for its renowned bone marrow transplant unit.
In Salamanca, for the last six years, the Charity Gala in favor of Pyfano has been celebrated , a Gala that this year was held on November 27th, and where of course, we were there.
An entertaining evening, enlivened by
ArmaDanzas
a group of musicians from different musical fields that bring our traditional musical repertoire to the little ones.
They mix play, dance, puppetry and song, to entertain young and old, as happened on Sunday when we had a great time.
At the end of the show, we enjoyed a
“Solidarity Tasting
where we were able to taste different products, from collaborating companies, products among which was our sheep cheese, which could be tasted with
#LaMesadeLaAntigua
.
This year, they were also able to enjoy the inflatables, thanks to Asaltacalles.
As you can see, no detail was missing at the VI CharityGala in favor of Pyfano . We want to congratulate the Pyfano Association for the great work they do.
