Quesería La Antigua de Fuentesaúco and Gestión Agro Ganadera have become since a few weeks ago the sponsors of the first men’s basketball team of Salamanca. And why Salamanca? Very easy, we have sheep cheese from Zamora, but our roots and our company Gestión Agro Ganadera are from Salamanca.
As you know we like to take the name of Salamanca to any place in the world where we are on a business trip, so we think we should also support the world of sport in this city, so often forgotten by all.
The CB Tormes first team will live an ambitious season in the First National Division in which together we will fight to achieve the coveted promotion to the EBA League, a category in which the charro team has already given us some joys in recent years.
This year the team will wear the logo of both companies on the equipment and will be renamed Quesería La Antigua – CB Tormes. And although we have been playing matches with the new kits for almost a month, it will not be until tomorrow, November 24, when we will present ourselves in society through a press conference to be held at the Wuzburg Pavilion at 13:00 hours.
And it seems that this union was predestined… since this team is going to be the milk (of sheep) and will play round games (like a cheese)!!!!😉
