One year… one year has passed since we celebrated the III Congreso Cocina con Queso y Humor! It seems like yesterday when we were organizing everything and the IV edition is just around the corner. Exactly, as you can hear, there’s nothing left! next October 26, 2017 at 20:30h we are going to make a mess again in Peñaranda de Bracamonte (Salamanca) and in the same place, the Teatro Calderón, because it has that something that makes it so special and we love it.
This is a very important event for La Antigua Cheese Factory as we intend to disseminate the role of the sheep cheese, the black pudding and farinatos of Castilla y León as an innovative element within our culinary, nutritional, social and cultural habits; in addition to paying tribute to all those who maintain the cheese-making tradition in Spain: shepherds, artisan manufacturers, cooks, etc.
Once again this year we are joined in this crazy Congress by our friends from Mares Virtuales, peñarandina digital agency, Hergaher with its delicious black pudding and farinatos and of course, our star chef,
Helio Flores
with whom all this madness was born.
We will bring together once again our great passions, along with some of the best chefs in our country that will make us taste the best tapas with sheep cheese and black pudding and farinatos, of which we can not yet speak but we will show you at the end of the Congress.
As you know we always have a very special presenter who will make the Congress very entertaining and this year could not be less, but shhhhhhhhhh it’s a secret and we can not tell you yet! stay tuned to our social networks because you will love it when you find out. What we can go ahead is who is going to make us laugh out loud with his monologues, and that is Quique Matilla, comedian, actor and scriptwriter from Valladolid, who is currently presenting his show “Si No lo Digo Reviento” at the well-known Madrid venue “La Chocita del Loro”. In recent years he has also worked in television as“El Club de la Comedia” or “Paramount Comedy” in addition to his work as a collaborator in several radio programs. So as you can guess, laughs are guaranteed.
Nor could we miss that exciting moment of the Commitment, New Shepherds and Traditional Shepherdawards, in recognition and gratitude for their dedication and contribution to the pastoral world and their efforts to raise to the top and not allow this important and unique tradition to disappear; as well as that of Ambassador of Farinato delivered by Hergaher.
