It is a Federation that has integrated four associations in our country: the Cheese Association, the Association of Manufacturers of Yogurt and Fresh Dairy Desserts, the Association of Industrial Products and Butter and the Association of Liquid Milk Manufacturers, to which Gestión Agro Ganadera belongs.
As its Director General, Luis Calabozo, says, “We work to adapt, guide and defend the interests of the entire dairy chain”, and the Federation seeks to ensure sustainable production and generate value from the benefits and properties of dairy products to achieve a healthier society. It is made up of 60 companies that process 95% of the milk produced in Spain.
The work of this Federation is fundamental since this sector has been very volatile for some years and they help to adapt, guide and defend the interests of these industries. They are attentive and anticipate any initiative that may affect the sector and provide their experience and advice to improve, create trends and adapt to changes in society. The dairy sector is a strategic sector in our country, both economically and socially: the chain of production, processing and marketing represents a turnover of 13,000,000 euros per year, generating more than 60,000 direct jobs.
