Today, July 26th, 2024, we have had the honor to start the third stage of the Vuelta Ciclista de Castilla y León U23 2024 from Quesería La Antigua in Fuentesaúco. This event started at 11:00 in the morning with the arrival of fans and cyclists to our facilities, and the official departure of the teams took place at 13:00.
The day was full of energy, with many cycling fans coming to watch their favorite teams and cyclists. It was a day with a difference, where sport and our passion for cheese came together in a unique setting.
A day to remember. The cycling tour runs along part of the European Cheese Route.
Today’s stage cycled along the prestigious European Cheese Route, highlighting the quality and diversity of European cheeses. Attendees were able to enjoy a perfect combination of high-level cycling and the rich cheese-making tradition of our region.
In addition, we have taken this opportunity to remind all our visitors of the upcoming Fromago Cheese Experience Fair, which will be held in Zamora from September 12 to 15. This event will be a real cheese party, where visitors will be able to taste and buy a variety of cheeses from different national and international dairies, meet their producers and learn about the art of cheese making.

At Quesería La Antigua, we are committed to promoting the culture and traditions of our land. We are proud to have been part of this sporting event and to have been able to share our passion for cheese with everyone present.
The combination of sport and gastronomy that we have experienced today is a reflection of our commitment to excellence and innovation, without losing sight of our roots and traditions. We thank all those who came to support us and the cyclists, and we hope they enjoyed the day as much as we did.

The municipality of Fuentesaúco, located in the province of Zamora, is known for its rich history and cultural heritage. Famous for its chickpeas with designation of origin and asparagus, cheese is gaining more and more recognition in the local tradition. This place, where tradition and modernity intertwine, constantly supports initiatives that encourage local development and community participation in events of regional and national relevance.
We want to thank all the participants in this event, both the city council and those who have come to support them and to accompany us on this day so different that we have had with the cycling tour from our garden. Of course to the volunteers that thanks to them the work of organization has been able to go ahead, despite the heat that we have spent, all have given the best of them to make the experience different and great.
