What is FENIL?

FENIL is the
National Federation of Dairy Industries
which is made up of 60 companies that process 95% of the milk produced in the

Its objective is to look after the interests of the Spanish dairy sector in order to contribute to the sustainability of the entire production chain, as well as to guarantee the evolution, optimization and continuity of the dairy industrial sector.

FENIL highlights the benefits and nutritional properties of dairy products in order to raise public awareness and make society healthier.

is essential for the proper health of our society. For this reason, they work to integrate the people and agents involved, understand the market and its interests, and achieve solidity and independence for the dairy industry.

yogurts and fresh dairy desserts, milk powder and butter, among others.

What are Fenil’s governing bodies?

FENIL has four governing bodies, a structure that facilitates decision making:

General Assembly: this is the highest governing body of FENIL where all the companies that are part of the federation participate.

Board of Directors: is the permanent executive body of government, administration and management.

General Management: in charge of the operational management and execution of the agreements reached by FENIL, always reporting to the Board of Directors.

Areas of work: there are four areas of work around which the activities carried out are organized: food policy and sustainability, competitiveness, communication and promotion of consumption and, lastly, sectoral dialogue.
